The internet is really a vast place that contains a lot of information. There’s a constant need for new information on the internet, and that is why an entire industry has sprung up around the concept of creating content for the internet. Some content is created to help a website get a better placement on the results pages of search engines, other content is produced to inform the reader of information that the website proprietor feels is essential. No matter what the particular purpose of internet content may be, the overall driving force behind the creation of internet content is to get people to come to the website hosting the content.

There are a multitude of sources for internet content. A website owner may choose to hire their own content creators in house and spend the money on content creation that way. There is a large population of website owners that feel that website content is better purchased through companies that have an expertise in creating the content they need, so they will buy content from content providers and work with those providers on specifications that the website owner may need. Other website owners look to alternative means of securing website content that is not quite as customizable but much less expensive.

The more enterprising internet business owners spend a great deal of their time understanding how business on the internet works, and how information is bought and sold on the internet. One of the very popular sources for internet content is called an article directory. An article directory is a place where people post articles and essays on various topics and allow people to use the articles on their website for either a nominal fee or free of charge. The trade off is that the author”s information must appear on the website using the content. As you can see, this can work out as a great opportunity for a few different kinds of people.

The frustrated author that is having problems getting their work published can use an article directory to get their work out to the masses and let the people decide if they want to use it or not. An author that has been looking to get their name circulating can get a byline on the websites of people that use their content, and they get to use that as experience when putting together proposals for other writing work. It can be difficult to get a byline on a major internet publication, and get credit for your work. An article directory gets your work out to a lot of people, and some of them may choose to give you the byline you have been looking for.

This also applies to authors that prefer to create current events articles and news pieces. Once again, it can be extremely difficult to break into the national media and get a byline on a national publication. Offering your current events pieces as part of an article directory can help to get you the exposure you need to launch your career in journalism.

The more entrepreneurial internet business proprietors also submit articles to article directories, and they use them to help promote their business on other websites. When a website proprietor is going through an article directory looking for content, they have particular needs in mind that they are looking to fill with the content in the directory. If the content happens to be written by a business proprietor, then that might lend credibility to the article and help the website that decides to host it. The author gets exposure for their business along with a chance to show their expertise in their field, and also the website owner gets credible content for their website at a very low price or for no price at all.

An article directory is an excellent example with the internet working exactly as it was intended. The internet is meant to be an exchange of information and a worldwide marketplace. When content from one website benefits the author and the receiver without any money ever changing hands, then you have a ideal situation for both parties. This is just one of the many ways a business owner can get totally free advertising on the internet.

For more information visit Ferguson’s article directory: a site where you can submit for free your articles respecting the article submission guidelines.

Online Poker is a booming multimillion dollar industry with fortunes won and lost everyday. As a poker player keen to start playing in the online poker world, it can be daunting with some many poker rooms and bonuses available.

If you are new to online poker, there are many common mistakes that can be avoided. This article hopes to enlighten you regarding a few common mistakes.

1) Pick a popular poker room – The largest and most popular rooms are also the most reputable. I recommend choosing on the big three and these include Pokerstars, Full Tilt Poker and Ultimate Bet.

2) Sign up to the poker room through a reputable rakeback provider to collect a deposit bonus – Online Poker rooms offer bonuses to sign up new players. When you first sign up to a room you have the opportunity to sign up for a few financial extras including a) First Deposit Bonus b) Rakeback c) Rake Races d) Free Rolls. There are many reputable rakeback providers including Rakeback Power, Rakebrain and Raketherake. Most offers between sites are similar but check out a few and ensure you follow the sign-up instructions correctly.

3) Get used to the poker room and practice with play money – Start at the play money tables. Tweak the poker room settings to your liking and get used to buttons, sounds, and graphics. When you are comfortable with the room, it’s time to consider a real money deposit. Deposit Bonuses usually match your initial deposit i.e. Deposit $600 and get a $600 Bonus. The bonuses are slowly released after you play a certain number of hands.

4) Money and Finances – There are many deposit options available. A recommended and reputable option is Neteller. Take the time to read through different financial options. Most charge a small fee.

5) Strategies and Forums – There are an abundance of strategy and forum websites on the internet to assist you. Two Plus Two is a recommended website.

6) Poker Books – There are numerous books around to improve your poker skills. I recommended starting off simple with either Doyle Brunson’s “Super System” or Dan Harrington’s “Harrington on Holdem”. There is no bad book on poker, the more you read, the more you will learn.

7) Software – I would firstly recommended Holdem Manager – A database that records all the hands you play so that you can review mistakes. It also allows you to have real time statistics about your opponents while you play. Table Ninja is a use program that allows you to use hot keys instead of clicking the buttons – Very useful if playing many tables.
8) Training Websites – Numerous poker training sites exist to make you a better play and the leading site would be Card Runners – packed full of poker training videos for all games and skill levels, blogs, strategy forums and coaching also available. Worth checking out. Other training sites include Deuces Cracked, Poker Savvy, Grind School and Poker Pwnage.

9 ) Extra Bonuses from different site – Once you have collected your first deposit bonus, I recommended cashing out and redepositing at a new site and starting over on a new bonus.

10) Take care of yourself – Poker can be exhilarating when you win and infuriating when you lose. Look after yourself – eat well, exercise, take time away from the tables and most importantly keep smiling.

Barry Castle belonged to William de Barri in the 12th. Century, but was destroyed by Llewellyn Bren in 1316. Some say it was later rebuilt and used by the Cavaliers only to be destroyed again by the Roundheads, never to be reconstructed.

The Normans were hated by the locals and they had to build large mansions to protect themselves from the frequent attacks carried out on them from the people of the valleys and mountains. During the time of Henry III, there were 12 castles within six miles of Barry. In Glamorgan, there were 30 castles and in south Wales as a whole, 150.

Porthkerry and the church lying to its west is said to have taken its name from Ceri, who is said to have founded a port, ie ‘Port Ceri’. People say that Ceri ap Caid, the King of Essyllwg, resided in Porthkerry before the Christian era and that his bard, Corvinor, was the first to have built a ship with sails and a rudder for the race of Cymru. Some believe that Ceri was a nephew or grandson of Caractacus (Caradog) and that he assumed the leadership of the government in South Wales when Caractacus was sent to Rome.

John Wesley preached in the Porthkerry Church and sometimes outside in the churchyard too between 1741 and 1743. Today, there are two very old churches still in use in Barry: St. Cadocs Church in Cadoxton and Merthyr Dyfan Church in Merthyr Dyfan. One-hundred-and-fifty years ago, Cadoxton was the largest village in the Barry area: thus, in 1844 the Parliamentary register contained 25 names: 20 from Cadoxton and five from Barry. The one church was dedicated to St. Cadoc, who had been accustomed to spend Lent on Flat Holm and Barry Island. The village (Cadoc’s Town)took its name from the church, which was founded in 800 AD.

Merthyr Dyfan Church was founded in 600 AD and the name means Dyfan The Martyr. There were two saints of this name: one came to Barry to Christianize the inhabitants; the second lived in the 6th. Century and was the son of a Welsh chieftain. His sister was also martyred, giving her name to the town of Merthyr Tydfil.

The Christian faith flourished in the Vale of Glamorgan and in the middle of the Second Century, Llewrwg, Prince of Siluria, became the first king of all time to be baptized into the Christian faith anywhere in the world. He sent to Rome for more preachers and was sent Dyfan and Fagan. The former was martyred near the site of the church and the latter was canonized.

Astrive Student Loans

If you are require supplemental money to help pay for school, Astrive student loans may be what you are looking for in order to get the extra financing you seek. Astrive student loans are actually private loans that were established to assist with the costs of schooling that are not paid for by the standard federally funded financial aid packages.

There are a few methods that you can acquire Astrive student loans. Firstly, you can apply by yourself. In order to do this, you need to have an extremely good credit history that has gone on for at least 26 months. This is normally difficult for young adults to meet, so the majority of people making use of Astrive student loans apply with a co-signer.

A co-signer is an individual with a good credit rating who is prepared to vouch for you and take the responsibility for your student loan. However, a co-signer must meet a certain list of criteria in order to be eligible.

There are several requirements that you will need to meet in order to be eligible for Astrive student loans. Firstly, you need to already know which college you want to attend. This is important, as Astrive must get in touch with the school and acquire information on the loan process for that particular school. On top of that, they will verify that you will be attending that school, and set up the process of fund transfers from Astrive to the college.

Furthermore, Astrive student loans work in a very similar way to how federally funded loans work. For example, there is the same six month grace period associated with federal funding and a very similar process of application. However, unlike federal funding, Astrive student loans are not restricted by exactly the same limitations that federal funds are.

Also, federal funding will only permit a certain amount per applicant, while Astrive student loans are usually much more flexible. If your credit rating and history, as well as that of your co-signer, allow a higher limit, you can receive the limit that you require. This is very useful for those students who are enrolled in famous higher education centers, as these schools are typically a great deal more expensive.

Just like with many financial centers, but unlike federal funding, Astrive student loans applications can be rejected for any reason they like. The reasons can range from downturns in the economy to the possibility that you could default on the loan. The higher the risk you are, the more chances there are that your application will not be accepted.

If you’re looking for an MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) training program, it’s important to realise that there are many different types of training; some are easier than others. You will be able to choose from a number of options, whether you’re new to the industry, or have a certain amount of knowledge but are about to polish up your CV.

Each level should have a specialised course, so verify that the course is right for you in advance of spending your money. Search for a company that takes the time to learn what you’re looking to do, and can help you work out how it will all work, before they select your course.

Watch out that all qualifications you’re studying for are commercially relevant and are current. Training companies own certificates are generally useless.

The main industry leaders like Microsoft, Cisco, Adobe or CompTIA have nationally acknowledged proficiency programmes. Huge conglomerates such as these will make your CV stand-out.

Students will sometimes miss checking on a painfully important area – the way their training provider segments the courseware, and into what particular chunks.

Training companies will normally offer some sort of program spread over 1-3 years, and courier the materials in pieces as you pass each exam. This sounds reasonable until you consider the following:

What happens when you don’t complete every section? And what if you find the order of the modules counter-intuitive? Without any fault on your part, you might take a little longer and not get all the study materials as a result.

The ideal solution is to have all the learning modules packed off to you immediately; the whole caboodle! Then, nothing can hinder the reaching of your goals.

One of the most important things to insist on has to be full 24×7 support via dedicated instructors and mentors. Far too often we see trainers who only provide support to you inside of office hours (typically 9am-6pm) and sometimes a little earlier or later (but not weekends usually).

Never buy study programmes that only provide support to trainees via a message system outside of normal office hours. Colleges will give you every excuse in the book why you don’t need this. The bottom line is – you need support when you need support – not when it’s convenient for them.

Keep your eyes open for colleges that have multiple support offices around the globe in several time-zones. Each one should be integrated to enable simple one-stop access as well as 24×7 access, when it suits you, with the minimum of hassle.

Unless you insist on online 24×7 support, you’ll quickly find yourself regretting it. You may not need it during late nights, but what about weekends, early mornings or late evenings.

It’s likely that you probably enjoy fairly practical work – the ‘hands-on’ individual. If you’re like us, the trial of reading reference books and manuals is something you’ll force on yourself if you absolutely have to, but it doesn’t suit your way of doing things. So look for on-screen interactive learning packages if books just don’t do it for you.

Where possible, if we can involve all our senses in the learning process, our results will often be quite spectacular.

The latest audio-visual interactive programs featuring instructor demo’s and practice lab’s will forever turn you away from traditional book study. And you’ll actually enjoy doing them.

You must ensure that you see examples of the study materials provided by each company you’re contemplating. They have to utilise video, demonstrations and various interactive elements.

It doesn’t make sense to go for purely on-line training. Due to the variable nature of connection quality from most broadband providers, it makes sense to have physical media such as CD or DVD ROM’s.

Deciding to pursue your educational goals can be very validating and exciting, but with the wealth of information out there, it can also be very overwhelming. The best online colleges offer a few particular things that make life in school much easier. Choosing among these factors will also help you find out whether or not your chosen college is accredited or not.

Being accredited is important because certain employment opportunities will not be available to you unless your degree comes from an accredited university. If you are really planning for the future, you might want to check with your dream employer to see what kind of requirements they hold for prospective employees. If you are learning just for the sake of personal knowledge, then I would recommend finding free college courses online. While they are not graded or accredited, you can read through actual college material for free and at your own pace.

Your future schedule will also need to be considered. Do you plan to remain at this school for the entire period of getting your degree program finished? If you are, then you won’t need to worry about transferring your credits. However, if you do plan to transfer out, then any classes you take will need to have transferable credit, or they will not count at the next college you attend. All the classes that you have taken to date will have to be repeated at the new university.

Online schooling is one place where class size will never cause a problem. The only thing that may come up is how easily accessible your professor is. If it’s a quality college, they will give you a way to reach current students, and ask them how easy it is to get in touch with their teachers, and how often. While a traditional class setting is not mandatory for a quality learning experience, access to your professors for questions and concerns is.

Support is huge when it comes from your family and friends, but when it comes from the school as well, then your motivation increases even more. Once you’ve had this kind of support, it’s hard to work without. Check to see if your considered university offers this system, and for how long. For even the best students, getting that phone call once a week goes a long way towards helping you reach your goals on time.

Once you graduate, then comes the task of finding a job. Your research should also include seeing what percentage of the school’s graduates find employment in their chosen field, and how soon. By helping their students find work, it also helps the college or university gain credibility for other students considering future attendance. It also helps you get ready for the challenges of competing for valuable occupation positions, without the experience benefit of trying for years.

Making the choice to attend a university is one that produces results, but it might be difficult when you have also have a family to commit to as well. The best online colleges out there will work with you on a timetable that is mutually convenient, and will have one of their degree programs that fits your needs. By taking the time to research what is available, you will ensure that school works out for you both short-term and long-term in achieving your goals.

In today’s world, people do most of their stuff online, including college. So, what are the Best Online Colleges? We have a list of the Best Colleges Online that you may be interested in.

It’s really great that you’ve made it this far! Just ten percent of people say they enjoy their work, but the majority just bitch about it and nothing happens. By looking for this we have a hunch that you’re giving retraining some thought, so you’ve already stood out from the crowd. Now you just need to research and follow-through.

We’d politely request that before you start a training course, you discuss your plans with a person who is familiar with the working environment and can advise you. Such a person will go through personality profiling with you and assist in finding the right role for you:

* Is working with other people your thing? Is it meeting new people or being part of a team? Perhaps you prefer not to be disturbed and enjoy responsibilities that you can complete alone?

* What ideas are fundamentally important with regard to the industry you’ll be employed in?

* And how many years do you want to get out of your retraining, and can your chosen industry offer you that opportunity?

* Do you believe that retraining in your chosen sector will offer you employment opportunities, and provide the facility to be employed until your pension kicks in?

It’s important that you consider the IT sector – it’s well known that it is one of the few growth sectors. IT isn’t all techie people looking at computer screens the whole time – of course those roles do exist, but the majority of roles are done by people like you and me who are earning rather well.

Getting your first commercial position sometimes feels easier to handle if you’re supported with a Job Placement Assistance program. Don’t get overly impressed with this service – it isn’t unusual for companies marketing departments to make it sound harder than it is. The fact of the matter is, the huge shortage of staff in Great Britain is the reason you’ll find a job.

Update your CV at the beginning of your training though (advice can be sought on this via your provider). Don’t delay until you’ve graduated or passed any exams.

Many junior support jobs have been bagged by students who are still learning and have yet to take their exams. At least this will get your CV into the ‘possible’ pile and not the ‘no’ pile.

Generally, you’ll receive better results from a specialist independent regional employment service than you’ll get from a training course provider’s recruitment division, because they’ll know the local area and commercial needs better.

Certainly ensure you don’t spend hundreds of hours on your training and studies, and then do nothing more and imagine someone else is miraculously going to secure your first position. Get off your backside and get on with the job. Invest as much time and energy into getting your first job as you did to gain the skills.

You should look for an authorised exam preparation system as part of your training package.

Students regularly can find themselves confused by trying to prepare themselves with questions that aren’t recognised by the authorised examining boards. Quite often, the way questions are phrased can be completely unlike un-authorised versions and it’s important to prepare yourself for this.

Clearly, it’s very crucial to know that you’re completely ready for your actual certification exam prior to going for it. Practicing simulated tests helps build your confidence and saves you time and money on unsuccessful attempts at exams.

One fatal mistake that potential students often succumb to is to choose a career based on a course, instead of focusing on where they want to get to. Schools are stacked to the hilt with unaware students that chose an ‘interesting’ course – rather than what would get them the job they want.

It’s an awful thing, but a great many students start out on programs that sound great in the prospectus, but which provides the end-result of a job that is of no interest at all. Talk to many university leavers and you’ll see where we’re coming from.

It’s well worth a long chat to see the exact expectations industry will have. What certifications they will want you to have and how you’ll go about getting some commercial experience. You should also spend a little time thinking about how far you reckon you’re going to want to get as it will often control your selection of accreditations.

We’d recommend you take advice from a professional advisor before embarking on some particular learning program, so there’s no doubt that the specific package will give the skills for the job being sought.

Traditional teaching in classrooms, involving piles of reference textbooks, is usually pretty hard going. If this sounds like you, find training programs which have a majority of interactive, multimedia parts.

Many studies have proved that memory is aided when all our senses are involved, and we get physically involved with the study process.

The latest audio-visual interactive programs featuring instructor demo’s and practice lab’s beat books hands-down. And you’ll actually enjoy doing them.

Always insist on a demonstration of the study materials from the school that you’re considering. The package should contain expert-led demonstrations, slideshows and interactive labs where you get to practice.

Purely on-line training should be avoided. Ideally, you should opt for CD and DVD ROM courseware where offered, as you need to be able to use them whenever it’s convenient for you – and not be totally reliant on a good broadband connection all the time.

What are the sort of things you’d expect the most superior Microsoft accredited suppliers to offer a client in this country currently? Patently, the most supreme Gold Partner training tracks certified by Microsoft, supplying a range of options to lead you into a selection of professions with IT.

Maybe you’d like to find advisors with experience of the IT industry, who might give you help to sort out which job role would work for you, and the kind of tasks that are suitable for a person with your personality.

Make sure your training program is tailored to your skills and abilities. A quality company will make sure that the training is appropriate for the status you wish to achieve.

Many companies are all about the certification, and avoid focusing on what it’s all actually about – which will always be getting the job or career you want. Always start with the final destination in mind – don’t get hung-up on the training vehicle.

You may train for one year and then end up doing a job for a lifetime. Don’t make the mistake of taking what may be a very ‘interesting’ program and then spend decades in an unrewarding career!

Get to grips with what you want to earn and what level of ambition fits you. Sometimes, this affects which precise accreditations you’ll need to attain and how much effort you’ll have to give in return.

We’d recommend you take guidance from an industry professional before embarking on a learning programme, so you can be sure that a program provides the appropriate skill-set.

The classroom style of learning we remember from school, with books and manuals, is an up-hill struggle for the majority of us. If you’re nodding as you read this, find training programs that are multimedia based.

Our ability to remember is increased when multiple senses are involved – learning experts have been saying this for many years.

Fully interactive motion videos involving demonstration and virtual lab’s will beat books every time. And you’ll find them fun and interesting.

Always insist on a study material demo’ from the training company. The package should contain demo’s from instructors, slideshows and lab’s for you to practice your skills in.

Avoid training that is purely online. Always choose CD or DVD based study materials where obtainable, so that you have access at all times – ISP quality varies, so you don’t want to be totally reliant on your internet connection always being ‘up’ and available.

The sometimes daunting task of securing your first role in IT can be made easier by some training providers because they offer a Job Placement Assistance programme. Because of the massive need for more IT skills in this country right now, it’s not too important to place too much emphasis on this feature however. It’s actually not as hard as some people make out to get employment as long as you’re correctly trained and certified.

Bring your CV up to date as soon as possible however (advice and support for this should come from your course provider). Don’t wait till you’ve finished your exams.

You may not have got to the stage where you’ve got to the exam time when you land your first junior support position; however this can’t and won’t happen unless you’ve posted your CV on job sites.

If you don’t want to travel too far to work, then you may well find that an independent and specialised local employment service may serve you better than a centralised service, due to the fact that they’re going to have insider knowledge of the local job scene.

Fundamentally, as long as you put the same commitment into getting a job as into studying, you’re not likely to experience problems. Some trainees curiously conscientiously work through their learning program and just give up once certified and seem to suppose that interviewers know they’re there.

An important area that is sometimes not even considered by new students considering a training program is ‘training segmentation’. Essentially, this is how the program is broken down into parts for timed release to you, which can make a dramatic difference to how you end up.

By and large, you will purchase a course staged over 2 or 3 years and receive a module at a time. This sounds logical on one level, until you consider this:

What if you don’t finish every exam? Maybe the prescribed order won’t suit you? Through no fault of your own, you might take a little longer and not receive all the modules you’ve paid for.

To be straight, the best option is to get an idea of what they recommend as an ideal study order, but get everything up-front. You then have everything in case you don’t finish at their required pace.

Because you’re looking at information about Microsoft MCSE’s, you’re most likely in one of these categories: You could be considering a radical change of career to the world of IT, and you’ve discovered a great need for people with the right qualifications. In contrast you’re already a professional – and you need to formalise your skill-set with a qualification such as MCSE.

Be sure you check that your provider is educating you on the most up-to-date Microsoft version. A number of trainees get frustrated when they realise they’ve been learning from an outdated MCSE program which now needs updating.

Avoid making a hasty decision when buying a training program without a proper consultation. Look for a computer training company who will make sure that you’re on an appropriate training track for your requirements.

We can all agree: There really is pretty much no personal job security available anymore; there’s only industry and business security – any company is likely to let anyone go when it suits the company’s trade requirements.

Where there are increasing skills shortages and escalating demand of course, we generally hit upon a fresh type of market-security; driven by the conditions of constant growth, employers find it hard to locate the staff required.

The computing Industry skills shortfall in the United Kingdom currently stands at approximately twenty six percent, as shown by the latest e-Skills survey. Basically, we can only fill three out of 4 positions in IT.

This one truth in itself highlights why the country urgently requires so many more new trainees to become part of the Information Technology market.

For sure, now, more than ever, really is a fabulous time to join Information Technology (IT).

Far too many companies are all about the certification, and forget the reasons for getting there – which will always be getting the job or career you want. Your focus should start with where you want to get to – don’t make the vehicle more important than the destination.

It’s common, in many cases, to obtain tremendous satisfaction from a year of studying and then spend 20 miserable years in a career that does nothing for you, as a consequence of not performing some decent due-diligence when you should’ve – at the outset.

Never let your focus stray from what you want to achieve, and build your study action-plan from that – don’t do it the other way round. Keep your eyes on your goals and study for a job you’ll still be enjoying many years from now.

Sense dictates that you take guidance from an experienced advisor before settling on a study path, so you’re sure from the outset that the chosen route will give you the skills for the job being sought.

Incorporating examinations upfront and presenting it as a guarantee for your exams is common for a number of training colleges. But look at the facts:

Clearly it’s not free – you’re still paying for it – the price has simply been included in the whole thing.

If it’s important to you to pass first time, you must fund each exam as you take it, prioritise it appropriately and apply yourself as required.

Doesn’t it make more sense to not pay up-front, but when you take the exam, not to pay any mark-up to the training course provider, and to do it in a local testing office – instead of the remote centre that’s convenient only to the trainer?

Huge profits are netted by a number of companies that get money for exam fees in advance. Many students don’t take them for one reason or another and so they pocket the rest. Astoundingly enough, there are providers that actually bank on it – as that’s very profitable for them.

Additionally, you should consider what an ‘exam guarantee’ really means. Most companies will not pay for you to re-take until you’re able to demonstrate an excellent mock pass rate.

On average, exams cost 112 pounds or thereabouts twelve months or so ago when taken at Prometric or VUE centres around the United Kingdom. So don’t be talked into shelling out hundreds or thousands of pounds more to get ‘an Exam Guarantee’, when it’s obvious that what’s really needed is consistent and systematic learning, coupled with quality exam simulation software.

So, why ought we to be looking at commercial qualifications and not traditional academic qualifications obtained from tech’ colleges and universities?

Industry is now aware that to learn the appropriate commercial skills, certified accreditation from such organisations as CISCO, Adobe, Microsoft and CompTIA often is more effective in the commercial field – for considerably less.

Clearly, a reasonable portion of relevant additional knowledge needs to be learned, but precise specialisation in the required areas gives a commercially trained student a real head start.

In simple terms: Recognised IT certifications let employers know exactly what you’re capable of – everything they need to know is in the title: for example, I am a ‘Microsoft Certified Professional’ in ‘Planning and Maintaining a Windows 2003 Infrastructure’. Therefore employers can look at the particular needs they have and what certifications will be suitable to deal with those needs.
